Women's Friendship Month
September 23rd, 2024 by admin
International Women's Friendship Month is celebrated in September to honor the importance of female friendships. The month-long celebration was created by Kappa Delta Sorority, which started with National Women's Friendship Day in 1999 and expanded it in 2009.
A time to honor the special connections between women who uplift, inspire, and empower us. Friendships are more than just fun hangouts and shared memories — they are lifelines of support, strength, and encouragement.
Friendships are vital in keeping us grounded and motivated, whether we’re celebrating wins or navigating challenges.
We encourage you to:
- Connect:
Take time to reach out to your closest friends. Go for a walk, grab a coffee, or just check in and chat.
- Share Wellness:
Prioritize your health together. Whether it’s trying a new workout class or sharing your favorite products, embrace the opportunity to elevate each other.
- Reflect & Appreciate:
Remind your friends how much they mean to you. A handwritten note or a thoughtful message can go a long way.
