November 13th, 2024 by admin

****As of November 13, 2024 – 3,096 lives saved****
LifeVac celebrated the 3,000th life saved by its device with a special evening, November 7, 2024, held at The Lannin in East Meadow, NY. The event included first responders from across the country, as well as several families of the 3,000 lives saved! It was a night of gratitude, inspiration, and unity in the mission to save lives. I had the pleasure of meeting the LifeVac inventor, Arthur Lih, and joining us was the El Monte Police Chief Jake Fisher, due to Officer Raul Vega using LifeVac to save the life of an 8-year-old boy who was choking on a hard candy. It was an honor to be in the company of so many police officers, and EMTs who are the true heroes, saving lives daily, helping families remain intact due to the device.

LifeVac is a portable, non-invasive choking rescue device that uses a one-way valve to remove lodged food or objects from the airway. The device is used by households, schools, and healthcare providers worldwide. From 2021, The Technology Depot is a proud authorized distributor of LifeVac, providing them at special pricing to local Police Departments, and City staff.
LifeVac's CEO and inventor, Arthur Lih, says that every life saved is a reminder of why the company was started. Lih's goal is to see LifeVac in every home and institution, and to end the over 5,000 choking deaths that occur each year.
