Due to a partnership between The Technology Depot and the El Monte Police Department, a life was saved! An 8-year-old boy choking on a candy was rescued thanks to the purchase of 200 LifeVac kits by the El Monte Police Department.

Each patrol car and select community areas were equipped with a LifeVac device, and The Technology Depot provided hands-of training and support. The dramatic body cam footage of the LifeVac in action, and interviews with Officer Vega, the mother, and the young boy were featured on multiple news outlets.
