El Monte, CA (April 2024) - The Technology Depot has been working to distribute LifeVac airway clearing anti-choking devices to area schools, police departments, emergency medical services and the community.

Forward thinking and community-minded Chief Jake Fisher has embraced this lifesaving device with the recent purchase of 200 LifeVac devices. These devices will be strategically placed in the officer’s vehicles and other pertinent locations for easy access should a choking event occur within the city. “We want the community we serve to have access to this life-saving device when it is needed most”. The distribution includes training and implementation.

“We are grateful for the dedication of the El Monte Police Department for implementing LifeVac in their community,” said Ginny Dean, President of The Technology Depot. It’s an incredible honor to know them and support them.”

Founded in 2012, LifeVac is the only portable, non-invasive airway clearance device registered and fully regulated by the FDA as a class II suction device. The device can save lives and is an essential tool to have when someone is choking.

LifeVac has just achieved an extraordinary milestone: saving over 2,000 lives from choking incidents with about ½ being children! Every one of these rescues represents a precious life spared, a family kept whole, and a community united in safety. From homes to schools, restaurants to medical facilities, LifeVac continues to be a beacon of hope in choking emergencies.
